Rioters also attacked other stores before targeting the Police West Precinct.
Conservative activist Katie Daviscourt posted a video showing the far-left groups smashing windows and spray painting the Amazon store’s front window.
Rioters also attacked other stores before targeting the Police West Precinct resulting in a wounded officer being taken to hospital.
The Seattle Police Department said:
Rioters “were responsible for a significant amount of property damage to government buildings and private businesses” and that “at least a dozen officers were injured.”
Daviscourt reported witnessing armed Antifa and BLM activists in cars.
Cole Miller, a reporter for KOMO-TV, noted the looting and an attack on a police precinct.
Miller says his cameraman was also attacked.
SPD said that “Arson/Bomb detectives” were investigating the attacks by the extremists, which they said, “appeared to be very organized and this appeared to be a very concerted effort at property damage of certain businesses and government facilities.”
Conservative activist Ian Miles Cheong noted:
“Antifa wrecked a Starbucks in Seattle during an anti-ICE “protest.”
Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan still has not addressed the violent riots and injured police officers.
The news comes just two weeks after Seattle police dismantled the leftist activist-held Capitol Hill Organized Protest (CHOP) zone and reclaimed the area.
SPD Chief Carmen Best sent armed forces into the zone, arresting multiple protesters, telling the public that “enough is enough.”
Mayor Jenny Durkan eventually gave the order to clear the area and declared the gathering an unlawful assembly.
